To post an ad to sell a product or service , you will need to create an account on the website and then click on the "Post Your Ad" button, Select Ad type and most suitable Category for your Ad.

 From there, you can enter the details of the product you wish to sell, buy or list, including a title, description, and photos.

To search for a specific product, serices or job, you can use the search bar located at the top of the website. Simply enter keywords of what you are looking for and press enter.

You can also search by Location, Category and Keyword

1. Every ad must have an accurate title.
2. Every ad must contain only exclusive images (obtained by the seller and not downloaded from the Internet), without any contact information or watermark.
3. Every ad must contain images. (Images with phone numbers will not be approved)
4. Make sure you choose an appropriate category. Be mindful when choosing a category for a job proposal and/or resume.
5. The prices of your items must match the actual prices of similar products.
6. All products and / or services posted must be located in Nigeria
7. All items and products must be legally permitted.
8. Each item for sale must be posted separately. You cannot post multiple products in the same ad.
9. Every ad must contain a brief and clear description.

Users must comply with all applicable laws, the Terms of Use and all published Platform rules and policies. Here is a non-exhaustive list of products and services that are prohibited from promoting on Owode.ng:

1. Narcotics, steroids and any drugs or medications that require a prescription from a licensed medical specialist
2. Weapons
3. Military / Police Restricted Items
4. Human Organs
5. Illegal / Pirated Copies
6. Stolen Property
7. Code Capture and Burglary Devices
8. Electronic Equipment Prohibited by Law
9. Sexual Orientation Services
10. Loans, Money Transactions, Bitcoin
11. Multilevel Marketing, Pyramid and Matrix Programs
12. Jobs in Network Marketing and "Home Business"
13. Products (goods or services) prohibited from selling by law, in particular:

• Any goods, sale, distribution or advertising that are prohibited or restricted by the Law of Nigeria
• Any goods, sale, distribution or advertising prohibited by applicable law in Nigeria;
• Any goods that do not comply with the quality standards and requirements imposed on such goods by the applicable legislation of Nigeria;
• Any products that are represented on the label or described as a treatment, prevention or cure for diseases, disorders or abnormal physical states specified by applicable law in Nigeria.

If you noticed any ad promoting Prohibited Items on Owode.ng, please report it through “Report Abuse” link available in each post.

Your Ad might not be approved or Declined, if you didn't comply with the term of use of owode.ng and also if :

1. You to post a prohibited Item.
2. You post many items in one ad. It is not allowed in Loja. You must post each item separately: 1 ad = 1 product.
3. You have posted nude photos or images that contain contact details, watermarks, etc. We do not allow you to post this type of photo. Please remove them and add real photos of the item you intend to sell.
4. You have set the irrelevant price for your item. Make sure you do some market value research and enter an appropriate price for your ad.
